Quick little shoutout today to our hard-working lawn crew at Davis Yard Services for beautifying the front of our building recently at the Tallahassee location!

Owned by local Tallahassee resident Gary Davis - who has been a longtime customer before ever taking over our lawn care - Davis Yard Services approached us with an idea to revamp the front of the location that faces Monroe St.

And while these first few pictures show the finished product, take a look at Pics #5-9 to see what it looked like before they got going! 👀👀👀

First, DYS cleared all the old plants out and flattened the surface, then they laid down a thick layer of black mulch to set the stage for NEW plants that are not only eye-catching, but match our DM's brand colors!

The result is a great-looking display both from the road as you drive by, and as you pull in!

Thanks for all your hard work on this, Davis Yard Services! 🤝

(P.S. - Davis Yard Services is a two-time winner of Tallahassee's "Best Of" Award for Lawn Care! These guys know their stuff! 🚜)

We came. We saw. And we introduced Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens to Dick Mondell's Burgers & Fries!

Shoutout to our founders Connor and Chris for holding it down last Saturday at the Annual "Brew At The Zoo" craft b**r and food festival - despite torrential rains in the lead up to the event! But it didn't stop the crowds from lining up for hours for samples of our food!

We were invited to showcase at the Jacksonville Food & W**e Festival earlier this year - which was on our , btw! - and at that event, we met the organizers of this event who were like, "We MUST have you at the Brew At The Zoo this year!"

Say less!

We were honored to be invited to both considering these are two of the BIGGEST events of its kind in Jax every year.

And while we may be known for our burgers, we highlighted two of our chicken dishes at the Jax Zoo:

1. Smoked Chicken Sliders w/ Homemade Coleslaw and Homemade Alabama White BBQ Sauce

And ...

2. Smoked Chicken Wings w/ a drizzle of that homemade Alabama White BBQ as well!

Both of these items are available at our Jax Beach location - in fact, the Smoked Chicken Sandwich is a Jax Beach exclusive! - and we can't thank everyone enough who stopped by to try us out.

The lines were long. The reviews were stellar. And we lost count on how many came back for seconds and thirds!

Thanks to our girl Brandi Moore Media for hanging with us for the evening and capturing these awesome shots.

We had a blast and hope to be invited back next year!
