Part-Time Bakery Assistant | Zell’s Cottage Bakery
We’re growing our team and looking for a dependable, energetic, and outgoing person to join us behind the scenes—and often in front of the counter! 🧁💕
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves a fast-paced, creative, fun work environment and enjoys making people happy through really great sweets, treats and more. 🍪🎂
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
• Has a positive, outgoing personality and genuinely enjoys interacting with people
• Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing things well
• Is dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently
• Has a flexible schedule and is available to work weekends — weekend availability is required
• Has reliable transportation
• Is comfortable working in a busy bakery environment and being on their feet for extended periods
• Is willing to jump in wherever needed—baking, decorating, packaging, cleaning, stocking, dishes, or helping guests
• Has great attention to detail and understands that the little things matter
• Can follow recipes, instructions, food-safety practices, and bakery procedures
EXPERIENCE?
🍰 Bakery experience is not required, but definitely a bonus!
🎨 Artistic, crafty, or creative skills are a HUGE plus.
🛍️ Guest service or retail experience is also a plus.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, works hard, has a great attitude, and wants to be part of a fun team.
This isn’t just a job where you stand around waiting for the next customer. Some days are calm, some days are “WHY ARE THERE 47 ORDERS DUE TODAY?!” 😂 — so being adaptable and ready to hustle is important!
