Our SAVE THE UBES Smoothie is a pretty delicious place to start.
UBE IS HAVING A MOMENT. ๐
And if you've been wondering what exactly it is... meet ube (OO-beh).
It's a naturally purple yam with roots in Filipino cuisine, where it's been used for generations in sweets and desserts. Its vibrant purple color comes from naturally occurring plant pigments called anthocyanins โ also found in berries and other purple foods.
The flavor? Subtly sweet. Nutty. Vanilla-like.
It's new to a lot of Pulp fans - but it's definitely not a new food.
We paired ube sorbet with our other premium hero ingredients to create our limited-time Save the Ubes Smoothie.
And this one has a bigger purpose: $1 from every Ube Smoothie sold supports Keep A Breast Foundation and its breast health education + prevention work.
Try something new. Sip for Prevention. ๐๐
