**copied** Friendly reminder as we head into a brutally hot week: please be patient with your restaurant workers, especially those of us working back of house. 🔥🍳

Kitchen temperatures can easily climb well over 110 degrees, and sometimes we have to make adjustments to keep everyone safe and functioning. This week I’ll probably be running with less equipment on when possible just to try to keep the heat manageable, which may mean food takes a little longer than usual.

Nobody is slacking back there. Chances are your cooks are sweating through their shirts, chugging water, and doing their best to get your food out as quickly and safely as possible.

Be kind, stay hydrated, tip your servers if you can, and maybe send a little extra appreciation toward the folks standing in front of grills, fryers, and ovens while the rest of the world is looking for air conditioning.

We love feeding you guys. Thanks for giving us a little grace when Mother Nature decides to turn the kitchen into a convection oven. ❤️
