Your favorite sprinkle cake (I am biased towards my dream confetti cake… but it is SO GOOD!) paired with your favorite buttercream (again, totally biased towards my dream buttercreams 😎) dipped in sprinkles is all you need!

Switch up the colors or toppings and now you have an easy trending menu ready to sell.

Since we know dot cakes are just cake cups and cake jars with sprinkles, we might as well take the chance to ride the wave because a trend is a trend and where there’s a trend lies opportunities!

Now if you don’t feel the need to jump on the trend, that is perfectly ok!

But if you want something to do and try to get eyes on your bakery, give it a try and see where it takes you!

This is how I turn a $1.25 cookie platter pan into $48!

24 Mix and match cookie flavors to make the perfect platter for my customers.

I give them the menu and they choose which flavors they want and how many of each flavor.

Then I bake up the cookies and package them. I don’t individually package the cookies because my customers are usually ready to eat the cookies right when they get them.

Saves me time and money doing it this way so I can keep the costs low.

This is why I love selling cake slices in my home bakery business. I sell my cake slices for $12 at the farmers market, but make sure you know your OWN numbers and how much you should sell them for.

As a shortcut, I recommend selling for $8-12.

I mean all of our flavors are on point, but I just was not expecting this to be the one everyone went crazy for. Cookie Butter is usually that girl!

I strongly believe handing out samples is a game changer at markets when you are trying to build a customer base.

Every person that sampled the strawberry crunch cakes were instantly like “yeah, just throw it in the bag 🎶 “

And that’s what we did!

We find this to be a very good strategy for our bakery as everyone who tries it first, is super confident on what they’re getting when they order.

This is how much I personally charge for mini cake pans at the farmers market, but run your OWN numbers to make sure it makes sense for YOUR home bakery.

As a shortcut, I recommend a price of $5-8.

You can take a $0.25 pan and turn it into a $7 profit machine for your home bakery!

It’s as simple as taking your favorite recipe (it HAS to be GOOD! That’s why I use my dream cake recipes 😋 ) and baking in mini loaf tins.

Take it up a notch by adding my custom label templates that make your business look professional.

Instead of just delivering your cake jars or treat boxes as-is, offer custom graduation labels for a small upsell.

Names, school colors, Class of 2026, people LOVE seeing themselves on their desserts.

✨ It adds meaning for them
✨ And adds profit for you

Here’s my solution 👇🏽

The biggest fear most bakers have selling baked goods at farmers markets is how to keep your cakes from melting, especially if you live in a hot and humid environment like me! 🤠

I knew I needed a solution so my buttercream wouldn’t melt but also wanted a way to still display my products instead of hiding them in a cooler.

📌 Go ahead and save this post real quick so you can come back to it.

Don’t get me wrong, I still used my cooler to hold my back-stock. But I used a bakery display case to showcase the products I would actively be selling to my customers.

The display case on its own wouldn’t have been enough so I made it “refrigerated” by adding in ice packs and a fan to circulate the cool air.

I didn’t know if it was going to work at first, but I’m so glad IT DID. Not a single item melted. 🙌🏽
