Happy December! As you know we aren't doing tacos anymore but if you want to support another local food truck, they have breakfast burritos and also burritos for the other, less important meals of the day. And they are pretty darn good! And you know how picky we are!
They are parked in Fruita today at Sparks Fly Studio on 6&50 near the Fruita tower.

Wahoo! Copper Club is opening a food trailer!

Exciting News! We are opening our own food truck! Sometime in July we will be picking up a brand new, beautiful, 24 foot kitchen and we want to find a team member to help us run it. Hey everyone! Forgive us for not posting in so long but we have been struggling with this decision and how to say this, so here goes. After 5 awesome years ( and 1 weird one, 2020 ) we have decided not to reopen Tacorado this year and to sell our food trailer.

We have put our other interests and occupations on the back burner for a while now and we've decided we just can't do it all. It's time to change our focus. For Megan, that means focusing on her work in the OR ( hopefully you won't run into her there 🙂 ), completing her Bachelors degree, and teaching at CMU. For me ( Vanessa ), I am getting back to spreading the love of mountain biking as a youth coach and also getting back to my first love of photography and opening a studio at FARM this Fall called .

We are so grateful and feel so lucky to have been able to take this taco journey with such a great community! We will see you around town and out on the trails ( and maybe "guest cheffing" somewhere someday ).

Thank you guys so much for helping us make our breakfast taco trailer dream come true ❤

One of the things we have been doing during our hiatus when we get a chance is helping out one of our favorite non-profits, The Cycle Effect.
We're declaring October " do a good deed and eat some pizza" month! We know, pizza is not a breakfast taco but you could put the leftovers in a tortilla with a fried egg and some habenero sauce, eat it for breakfast and feel good about it knowing you have contributed to the great cause of "empowering young women through mountain biking to create brighter futures and build stronger communities". 😃
