Just an fyi

The Borger Health Care BBQ Shootout is going to be July 30th at the Borger Elks Lodge. ....we are currently taking registration for cook teams. It is 150.00 entry fee until July 23rd. ...after that registration fee will be 175.00 for late registration. This is a winner take 50% of registration fee for the event. Other 50% goes to Borger Health Care Center! You will be judged on 3 meats chicken, ribs and brisket. There will also be a bean jackpot at 10.00 entry with one winner taking all of entry fee.

Check in time for teams will be 12 noon on July 29th. Judging will be headed up by Camp Creek BBQ. ....Melissa Yake Russell. There will be a cooks meeting at 6pm on July 29th. Turn in times will be posted at that time. Meat inspection will be done by head judge after cooks meeting.

Cowboy Beans are the Special for Friday! The 32oz beans are $10.00 or the 20 oz.are $4.50. If you haven't had the cowboy beans they are beans with your choice of chopped meats and choice of bbq sauce. Come get some on the way to the football game.
