The flags are down. The screens are quiet. And we are still catching our breath.

For a solid month, this place ran almost 22 hours a day. Doors open at 8 AM for the early matches. Last guests out at 2 AM. Prep before that, clean-up after.

Our team did that. Every single day.

David, Dakota, Andy, Ashley, Joshua, and every server, cook, bartender, and host who showed up at sunrise and stayed past midnight, you carried this. The packed rooms, the roaring goals, the Swedes and the Norwegians and the Mexico crowd who found a home here? That was you.

This week we're back to normal hours. Feels almost strange.

39 days ago we opened the doors, turned on every screen, and hoped a few people would show up.

Then Sweden showed up in yellow.
Norway brought the flag and the viking helmets.
Mexico packed the room.
The USA got on its feet.
And Argentina, England, France, Belgium, Japan and Colombia found their seats right alongside them.
Frisco Square filled the lawn right alongside us.

You turned Anchor Bar Frisco into a place where the whole world had a seat at the table. We will not forget it.
