A Little Change About Pennies!

Did you know the U.S. Mint stopped producing pennies in November 2025? And at nearly 4¢ to make each penny, they were costing more than their face value!

We held off as long as we could, but our supply of pennies is quickly running low. So, following Washington State guidance, cash totals will now be rounded up or down to the nearest nickel when needed.

Paying by card or check? No change there! Your total will still be charged to the exact penny.

Thanks for your understanding as we make this little change!
