We offer many kinds of traditional Laotian and Thai dishes along with several takes of popular south east asian cuisine. We are open 7 days a week, unless otherwise dictated, so keep it locked here for special announcements on hours and other news. We offer various party trays for all occasions. Hi everyone, former head server Joseph here. I wanted to thank everyone for their outpouring of support since announcing the change in ownership to Mr. Papaya Kitchen. Although I left the day-to-day business several years ago, it’s been very humbling to see the people of Fresno and around the country show their support and love of the food that my aunt and uncle served. Please continue to support the new owners and keep your eyes peeled because you’ll never know where what we might do next! Hey folks! Former drink specialist and head server Joseph here with a major update. As many of you may have heard by now, Mr. Papaya Kitchen is under new ownership as of September 2021. My aunt and uncle has decided to step away and retire and we make announce this with a heavy heart. They started over 20 years ago in the restaurant industry and have spent the last 15 years here in Fresno. We have been honored and humbled by the support we’ve received from the community over the years. You may still see some of us from time to time helping out but we encourage everyone to continue to support the business as the new owners have been trained closely by my aunt and uncle and we are excited for them and anything they bring.

This page will remain active for historical purposes but any questions should be directed to the new owners. From the entire family and original owners, thank you all again for everything and who knows, you’ll never know where we may end up next!

Edit: nothing will change. For now, the name and what we serve will remain so you can still enjoy our food. You’ll just see some new faces in and around the restaurant. 🍜

It’s been reported that we are back open after temporary shutting down due to electrical maintenance being done to the building. Hi folks. Former head server and drink specialist Joseph here. I’m checking in to let everyone know the current situation with the restaurant. I’ve heard several reports that no one is picking up the phone and that is due to the electrical company shutting down power for maintenance and therefore, we must close for business for the time being. This is on-going and will last a few days. I have NO INFO on when this maintenance will be completed and when we will be back open. We encourage everyone to call us to see if we are open and we deeply apologize for any issues or confusion this has caused. Thanks again for supporting us and we hope to see you all again soon.

Hi everyone. Former sever and head mixologist Joseph here! I’m checking in to let everyone know that Fresno county has entered a less restrictive tier of the governors COVID-19 reopening plan. This allows restaurants to allow for dine-in service at 25% normal capacity. Although restaurants are allowed to serve for dine in, the mangers of Mr. Papaya Kitchen has made no determination of if and when we will allow for dine in service again. We are still open for takeout and hope to serve you all very soon. If you have any questions, please call the restaurant directly. Thanks and see you all soon!

Attention: as of November 18, 2018, this page will no longer be monitored by anyone associated with Mr. Papaya Kitchen. The page will be up up for anyone who wishes to access any past post or info and for “checking-in” but any questions will not be able to be answered.

The reason for this is because since the departure of our main server, Joseph, the admins and people responsible for monitoring this page also will be ending their duties and will turn those duties over to other people outside the business.

This will not change normal operations and if anyone has any questions about our products or pricing you can always call our direct number at 559-453-0709. We thank everyone who has supported our business and this page throughout the years.

EDIT: again this does NOT mean we are closing or going anywhere. Nothing about the normal daily operation will change, only that an inactive account will be used to keep this page available.
