Happy Father's Day to all you Father's out there.
Our Father is a visionary, a dreamer, an influencer, a coach, an encouraged, an overcomer, an entrepreneur, an athlete, a comedian. He's honest, has integrity, fights for truth and honor and children. Loves 80's music, the Raiders, coffee and his family.
He has failed at many things, trying to navigate through this hard and broken world... but one thing he has never failed at, is being our DAD.
It was His number #1 goal in life, to be a good dad... and he succeeded.
And he wasn't just our dad. He was a dad to so many, who had no Father's in thier home. He showed up to parents night for other students, when thier parents did not. He took not just us, but an entire group to school for "donuts with dad" so kids who did not have dads to take them, had a step in dad. He always played games with us and the neighborhood kids. He mentored and coached and made us feel safe and valuable and beautiful.
Now that we are grown, he is trying to establish "legacy" for his children and grandchildren. That is a huge part of Clash's purpose. It's to provide a place for all of us to work together, build something thst can be passed on to the generations beneath us. And not just for us, but other families as well. A place where community happens, dreams come to life, and people are blessed.
We are so blessed to have this "old man jenkins" "dadio with the flabio" "Billy Bob Joe thorton" " Billy w***y milly jilly" "coach" "pops" "daddy" "babah" "mister" "steve" ... as our father!
