Our hearts go out to Delorisβs family.
Deloris was a huge poker player here at Redwood during our Texas hold em tournaments. She faithfully played every Saturday, and we all have many memories of her.
Rest now Deloris and tell Dianne we said hello.
Dolores Ann (Pash) Maines
Dolores Ann (Pash) Maines, age 84, of Morrisdale, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Embassy of Hearthside of Hearthside in State College.
Born on April 18, 1942, she was the daughter of Eggie J. Pash and Minerva (Etters) and Fredrick McKean. On December 9, 1967, she wed Ray S. Maines, Sr., with whom she shared many beautiful years before his passing.
Dolores worked as a waitress at several local restaurants and truck stops before changing careers and finally retiring from Skills of Central PA. Known for her strong work ethics, warm personality, and welcoming nature, she approached both her career and her home life with kindness and grace.
After her husband passed, Dolores spent her remaining years living with her eldest son, Ray Jr. and his wife Stacey. Surrounded by her grandchildren, Randie (Justin) and Sabrina, her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Dominic, and the beloved family pets-Shakespeare, Brutus, and Petunia Belle-she truly thrived. Her family served as her devoted caregivers, ensuring her days were filled with love, laughter, and companionship. Do lores adored being in the center of family life, eagerly participating in daily routines, holidays, vacations, and camping trips. She especially cherished the camping and adventures where her grandson, Ray (Amanda), and their children would join the family, creating beautiful memories together. She embraced every new adventure with joy until her declining health required full-time nursing care.
Dolores is survived by her children: Karen L. Bryant, Ray Maines, Jr. (and his wife, Stacey), and Richard A. Maines. She was the cherished grandmother of Randie M. Maines (Justin), Sabrina K. Maines, Ray S. Lowe (Amanda), and Holly J. Lowe; the proud great-grandmother of Alexandria, Elijah, Abigail, David, Elizabeth, Dominic, and Parker; and the loving great-great-grandmother of Nova. She also leaves behind her siblings, Joseph Pash and Hannah Houck, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Ray, Dolores was reunited in heaven with her children, John, Helen, and Renee; her grandchild, Kenneth; her sisters, Dianne Moore and Shirley Houdeshell.
