The Fremont Police Department invites you to join us for Coffee with a Cop at Prose & Provisions Coffee Shop!

This is a great opportunity to meet your local officers, ask questions, share ideas, discuss community concerns, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee and good conversation in a relaxed setting. It’s an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between our officers and the community we proudly serve.

I have loved Dolly since I can remember. Why? Well, I believe its because I remember my mama cleaning house and belting out 9 to 5, I will always love you, and crying at Steel Magnolias everytime she watched it, which was about 925 times. I have danced and choreographed to her amazing music, read her biography, and stayed in the White Limozeen in Nashville. I even named my lab Jolene. Something about Dolly was so genuine and fabulous, outrageous and down to earth, over the top and honest. She always knew who she was and who she wanted to be. But the thing I love maybe more than her unhinged wittiness was her advocacy for literature for children. We have lots of books at the shop so all this Saturday (also when our Coffee with a Cop event is scheduled), please stop by and have your little ones pick out a free children's book in honor of Dolly. It doesn't have to be an Imagination Library book but we'd be thrilled to spread her love for books far and wide. RIP Dolly. We will always love you.

Heeeey! You want to hear some great news?! We're going back to our extended hours next week, so we will be open till 4:30 again.
