Eight competitors battled for $1,750 in prize money during the second annual Tender Takedown, while competitive eating legends Molly Schuyler and Dan "Killer" Kennedy helped put on a show for race fans and families.

Important FAST-CHARGE EV Station Update

Beginning October 1, 2026
Until Further Notice

Due to circumstances beyond our control, including the unavailability of critical replacement parts from the equipment manufacturer, FriendShip FAST-CHARGE EV Stations in Sandusky and Port Clinton will be closed beginning October 1, 2026, until further notice.

FriendShip Kitchen is actively exploring alternative solutions and future EV charging opportunities. We remain committed to providing convenient fueling alternatives and innovative technologies for our customers. We encourage customers to check back for updates as we evaluate future charging options.

In the meantime, please use PlugShare, ChargePoint, Tesla, or another EV charging app to locate alternative charging options nearby.

🏆 The title of "Ruler of the Roost" has a new owner.

After claiming the title at the inaugural Tender Takedown, Abe Tawil returned to Fremont Speedway looking to defend the crown.

But after 10 minutes of FriendShip Famous Chicken, a new champion emerged.

🏆 Amateur Division Results
🥇 Bobby Good – 45.9 oz ($1,000 Winner)
🥈 Mike Cook – 42.6 oz ($500 Winner)
🥉 Abe Tawil – 41.8 oz ($250 Winner)

With his victory, Bobby Good becomes the new Ruler of the Roost and Tender Takedown Champion Title.

🏆 Professional Exhibition

Professional competitive eaters Molly Schuyler and put on an incredible show, finishing in a dead heat with 148 ounces consumed each.

Unofficially, Brianna from our Fremont FriendShip Kitchen challenged Adam to a JoJo eating competition. Adam won the bragging rights, but Brianna wins with style.

Thank you to Fremont Speedway, our competitors, volunteers, and everyone who joined us for an afternoon of racing, chicken, games, and community fun.

If you've ever marched in a band, you know two things are true: you carry a lot, and you're always hungry.

On Friday night, Amanda, Drema, Justin, and the entire Attica FriendShip Kitchen team had the opportunity to feed approximately 130 students from the Seneca East, Willard, and Old Fort marching bands during Seneca East's Military Appreciation Night.

That must be why Seneca East went on to beat Willard 29-14. We'd like to think the FriendShip Famous Chicken helped, though both schools gave a great effort on the field.

FriendShip Famous Chicken, JoJos, cookies, and chips were all on the menu. Everyone was fed, and any leftovers disappeared quickly.

We had a great time supporting these students and being part of another special night in our community.
