The Smoke Shack is proud to offer high-quality, authentic smoked meats to Stueben and surrounding counties. The Smoke Shack is located alongside The Lake Shack at 1865 West IN – 120 Fremont (on Snow Lake). We specialize in smoked brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and smoked sausages. Not to mention our outstanding smoked turkey and pulled pork offerings. Make sure you try our smoked wings that are a new addition to the menu.

Pitmaster Steve joined us from Texas after a long career in the culinary arts. He is dedicated to traditional, low-and-slow smoking techniques, using a blend of post oak and pecan shipped in from Texas to create distinct, bold flavors.

"Our mission is to offer real, honest BBQ at affordable prices," said Shiela Brown, Owner of The Smoke Shack and Lake Shack. "We don’t cut corners. We spend hours tending the fire to ensure every bite is tender, flavorful, and memorable. The Lake communities surrounding Fremont deserve great BBQ and we are thrilled to be part of the local food scene."

The Smoke Shack sets itself apart by using a custom-built smokers and sourcing its meats from local purveyors. The menu also features homemade sides including three cheese Mac-n-Cheese, creamy cole slaw and our signature baked beans.
