Thank You, From The Ordinary Hen

After a heartfelt journey, today we say goodbye to The Ordinary Hen. This space has been filled with incredible meals, meaningful conversations, and so many unforgettable memories. We’re deeply grateful to every guest who walked through our doors—you’ve been the heart of this place, and we can’t thank you enough.

But as one chapter closes, a new and exciting one begins—tonight.

We’re proud to introduce 7th Sister, opening this evening—Saturday, May 17, 2025—right here at 228 North Market. Under the direction of Chef Christian Blouin, formerly of Firestone’s, and guided by new ownership, 7th Sister brings a bold new vision rooted in soulful food, local partnerships, and the spirit of creativity that defines Frederick.
