Barley & Hops is the winner of the Maryland Comptroller's Cup for Maryland's Top Beer of 2016 – along with 20 other medals, seven being Gold! After coming under new ownership in the past year, B&H is a new brewery with expanded craft beer and food offerings.

Maryland’s first and only female-owned brewery, Barley & Hops offers a unique blend of award-winning craft beer, amazing food, daily happy hour specials, and live local music. Owner Lori Keough has brought together a perfect storm of talent in the form of Brewmaster Eric Gleason and Executive Chef Jon Phillips. Eric earned the top spot at the 2016 Comptroller’s Cup and pulled down 20 additional medals — seven of which were gold — and Jon helps make Barley & Hops a destination by marrying comfort food and pub fare in his own signature, beer-centric style.
