I'm desperate! I got my uncle Gerald to get my plane ticket to get to Texas However need any financial help to get a hotel when I get there since dad's property is in probate. I'm begging for any help. And truly appreciate all the love you have sent me and my family thru this hard time.

I never imagined the day would come, that we would have to say goodbye
Nothing like losing a dad and best friend all at the same time.
I'd given anything to be by your side
To sit next to you, hold your hand
When it was time to say goodbye
I hope you know how much we miss you
Each and everyday
What I wouldn't give to hear your voice
With all the stories you'd have to say
Out of all the special gifts in life
However great or small
To have you as our dad was the greatest gift of all.
As the angels gather near your side
So close they were to you
For they knew all the pain and suffering that you was going through
There are no words to express what you meant to me
And for being the dad you did not have to be
But you chose to endure the struggle and raise two lil girls on your own
We weren't easy to tolerate but you did your best til we was grown.
The day heaven called your name, it broke my heart in two
But heaven needed an angel and the one they picked was you.
I just wish they could have waited and let you stay with me
But you left memories in my heart and that's where they always will be
If only I could rewind the clock or make it go real slow.
So I could hug you once more before you had to go.
No matter how much time will pass I'll miss you everyday
So please shine bright in heaven
So when my day comes you can light my way..
We will miss and love you always and forever

Hello my name is Caitlyn Rupert. I am the granddaughter of Timothy Schmidt who was the owner of Smittys Smoked Meats and Eats. I am posting in replacement of my mother Bobbie Schmidt who is not mentally capable to make this post. My grandfather has just recently passed away. He was a great man he served this country and has cared for and helped out anyone he has met. He made a great impact on everyone on this page and everyone in his life. Please keep our family in your prayers.

We have made a gofundme to raise the money to give him the proper love and respect he deserves for a military burial. If anyone can help any way we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for everyone who has supported us over the years.

Were officially closed down in Frederick. The truck went back to Texas. Unfortunately we it won't be back to do any events. If anyone's interested in jeep for st judes. Or summer solstice events please call me at 505-550-3247 so I can get you into contact with the coordinators of the events
I don't want the special events not taken care of and we normally did them each year! Anyone interested especially Smoked Meats or bbq but any type of food is helpful and appreciated. They do require all licenses and ins up to date and donations to worthy cause
Thank you for all your support these past 4 yrs. My daughter and I are heading into our own direction with food, baked goods and catering. We still have Smoked Meats however we are going international with it. Keep yall posted. We loved everyone we had the pleasure of meeting.
