The Shed won Best Cocktail Bar AND Best Specialty Cocktails in MyFM’s Quest for the Best! 🍸🥃
After about 20 years behind the bar, these awards mean a lot to me.
We opened The Shed in February 2023, and some weeks it feels like I work eight days a week trying to come up with unique cocktails. I’m obsessive about the details—the ingredients, the balance, the presentation. There’s a lot of experimenting and adjusting before a drink makes it onto our menu.
What makes this especially meaningful is that I didn’t even know we were in the contest until after it was over. Someone took the time to nominate us, and you voted for us without us ever asking.
To whoever nominated us, and everyone who voted: thank you. Knowing that you appreciate the work going into these drinks makes the long hours feel worth it.
To our guests who keep coming back, try something unfamiliar, and bring their friends—thank you for giving me a reason to keep creating. And to our team, thank you for helping bring those drinks to your tables every day.
I’m honored and grateful. These awards are something we can all raise a glass to.
