We sadly share the passing of one of our great past employees - Dianne Garrelts. Dianne worked for Enrico's for over 30 years! She was a prep cook, made many pies and for many years coordinated our large catering events which included many Madrigal Dinners at Lincoln-Way High Schools, catering for Chicago Public Schools Teacher Institute functions with 2500 attendees, Lincoln-Way Honors Night dinners for four campuses, and her favorite catering event, the WGN UnTied Fundraiser serving WGN staff and radio personalities.
Dianne will be remembered by those who worked with her for her smile, kindness and many fresh baked treats she would prepare early before work and bring for the staff to enjoy!
I want to extend my sincerest condolences to Dianne's large family who were her greatest treasure. On behalf of myself, as owner and all the Enrico's staff past and present, we thank Dianne for her many years and we wish her family peace and good memories at this difficult time.
