Lettuce mix, eggs, bacon, chicken, beets, bleu cheese crumbles all sourced from Kentucky farmers or producers. In the peak of summer we are able to source every last ingredient from a local farmer in our Cobb salad, with the exception of our dressing which we make in house.
When we say local, we mean it.

We love Kentucky and all that it offers, but WOW!!! Look at what this community has done. Thanks to everyone who has helped us achieve this milestone and helped us continue our mission to support local to Kentucky farmers.

Congratulations to Locals Frankfort on graduating from the Kentucky Proud Buy Local Program. Since opening in June 2021, owners Birch and Michelle Bragg have reported more than $380,000 in Kentucky Proud purchases while building a mission-driven food hub in Frankfort dedicated to supporting local farmers and strengthening Kentucky's agricultural economy.

Offering fresh produce and local meats to pizza toppings and pantry staples, Locals continues proving that buying local creates a ripple effect far beyond the checkout line.

Part of our story is sharing their stories. The farmers and producers of Kentucky continue to show up to provide their products with us.

Knowing that your food came from Kentucky soil changes the game. If anything it’s a great conversation starter at the dinner table. We could talk about it for days, because it really is something special.

Wood fired pizzas is what we are known for, but the ingredients that are in/on those pizzas are really what is different about us.

Locally sourced, when in season, only from Kentucky farmers and producers. When we can’t find it at the quality we are searching for, we make it ourselves (hence the pizza sauce, pizza dough, etc.)

We’ve had many “Locals kids” stop in and make some memories in our space. We so love being a place where people feel welcome and continue to make some of those core memories. Live music, birthday parties, gathering of friends and family, graduations, or even just a quick bite of ice cream. Each occasion has a special place in our hearts. 💜

Local food made easy has always been the goal. The difference here, is feeding your body nutrient dense food, but also supporting your local farmers with every pizza, salad, or appetizer you order. Every bite has intention. Every order helps us fulfill that goal.

When we placed our own radius of what “local” meant in the Food Hub, we knew there would be hurdles to jump. You would be surprised at how hard it is to find some of the every day essentials sourced from the state you live in. But that’s the dedication we made to ourselves, and our customers.

The stuff you find on our produce shelves, a lot of it you won’t find year ‘round, because it doesn’t grow year ‘round. And it makes it that much more special when it IS available.
