determined young man with Down Syndrome and a desire to be a Chef. At age 21 he went to Eastern New Mexico University to a Vocational program for people with limited abilities. Since Austin never learned to read, he was not a good candidate for a Chef job, but he learned how to be an excellent Prep Chef. His love of food had him yearning to own his own restaurant. Austin’s Underdawgs was born and

now, some 22 years later, Austin has taken his show on the road selling more than 45,000 Underdawgs in 6 years. From his custom Dawg Sauce to his quirky flavors, Underdawgs has something for every hot dawg lover!
