New Single Origin!

El Nevado del Huila is a washed coffee grown between 1,600 and 1,900 meters in Huila, Colombia, by smallholder producers around Santa Maria and Pitalito. Named for the country’s highest volcano, this communal lot features Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo varieties, with every small lot cupped and approved before joining the whole, resulting in a clean, sweet, and approachable cup.

New single origin!

You may remember this single origin from 2024 - Biru Bekele, the natural process from Ethiopia, is back!

In Odo-Shakiso, Ethiopia’s Oromia region, Biru Bekele has spent his life learning what this land can become. In 2019, after 18 years as a grower, he built a station run today with station manager Mesfin Girma, known for care and quality at every step. This natural coffee dries slowly, cherries fully intact in the sun, patience shaping every cup poured.

✨ New single origin - Belarminio Ramirez (Natural), Dominican Republic

Last month, we released a creamy, honey process from The Ramirez Estate in the Dominican Republic. This week, we’re excited for you to try the natural process from the same estate.

Since 2017, the Ramirez Estate has refined their aged natural process to produce something truly exceptional. Cherries ferment for 24 hours before drying slowly on raised beds, fruit still intact, deepening into rich, complex flavors. The parchment then rests for a full 12 months. Behind it is a farm that sustains its land, supports its workers, and uplifts the children of its community.

New single origin!

Last Summer, we released our first-ever single-origin from the Dominican Republic, Belarminio Ramirez. The consensus all around was clear - you all loved this red honey process, and it showed- we ran out much quicker than anticipated!

We’re excited to share that it’s back! While this coffee is great on drip, we recommend this as your next go-to single-origin espresso.

Since 2017, Ramirez Estate has refined their red honey process, leaving fruit on the bean as it dries to develop a deep, syrupy sweetness. 18-hour fermentation and eight weeks of parchment rest, deepen notes of caramel and ripe fruit. Behind it is a farm that cares for its land, workers, and children of its community. Every sip tells that story.

New single origin!  Last week we released a bright, washed process from Burundi. This week, we’re excited for you to try Ntwari, a natural process from Burundi!

Ntwari means “hero” in Kirundi, a name that belongs to many. In Burundi’s Muyinga region, roughly 280 farmers tend their coffee at a scale closer to a garden than a farm, work most often carried out by women. Processed at a women-owned wet mill, this coffee is the result of a community that shows up for one another.

New single origin!  Turihamwe is a washed process from Burundi that is bright and clean with notes of white grape, lemongrass, and pear.
 Turihamwe means “together” in Kirundi, and together is exactly how seven women changed the course of their futures. In 2019, these farmers in Burundi’s Ngozi Province pooled their savings to build the country’s first women-owned washing station, taking control of their coffee’s quality and their place in the supply chain.

We have a new honey process single origin - Don Noe, El Salvador.

Don Noe and his wife meticulously cultivates this exceptional Pacamara on their 3-hectare farm at 1,800 MASL in La Palma. Due to the farm’s isolation and lack of a wet mill, they focus solely on honey and natural processing, drying the coffee on raised beds. This quality-driven coffee is the result of a partnership with Rodrigo Giammattei of Forest Flame, established in 2019.

Along with this new coffee is a new rhythm we’re doing with our coffee releases. Our team has curated a playlist of songs that speak to Don Noe in some way: the origin, the tasting notes, a mood, a memory, even the label color!
