This Monday we are hosting a very special event at The Dusty Biscuit. If you've been around, the Vu family has played a huge part in Dusty Biscuit history. Victor and Vincent have both been beignet slingers in the past, and Angela holds it down on the daily as our Kitchen Manager.

They're working hard to pay for an amazing, life-changing trip to Rome/The Vatican in just a few weeks. To help cover costs, they are hosting an amazing eggroll pop-up at our shop THIS Monday! These eggrolls are the real deal, y'all! We'd love a huge turnout so make plans to preorder and/or stop by!

Before the brick and mortar, before the bigg-er kitchen, before Dusty Biscuit had a place to call home… there was an Airstream, a whole lot of powdered sugar, and a dream of sharing beignets with Fort Worth.

We dug up this old video from those early days, and besides making us a little nostalgic, it still does a pretty great job answering a question we hear all the time:

Ah, the classic French Quarter Beignet. Don't breathe in or out on that first bite. However, one taste of this fried gold and you won't even care how much sugar is on your shirt. And there will be sugar on your shirt.
