Who would have thought that this roll-with-a-hole invented in Croatia sometime in the 17th century would reach the other side of the ocean to become the most famous and versatile bread in our kitchen? Nobody, right? Well even less would the Jews of that time know that we have also managed to include it in our ketogenic diet🥯
