Good afternoon everyone, we here at the UIT Food Distribution Program hope you all are doing well today.
We finally got our Gardan Boxes put together and filled with soil. Now we are waiting to go over and get some plants and start planting. I am excited and can't wait for us to be able to produce some fresh Vegetables for you all. Once we plant our Vegetables, I will let everyone know what to expect and will post more pictures.
Also, we have invested in a Freezer Dryer machine and once we have this operational, we will start Freeze Drying items and will be handing those out so that our clients may be able to sample different items.
Our Last Day of Issuance for this month will be on Friday June 26, 2026. So, be sure that you come in and get your grub before or on that day.
We will be closing at 4:30 P.M. the week of June 22-26, 2026 due to some of the staff will be attending our National NAFDPIR Conference.
Holidays for this month is Juneteenth, which is on Thursday June 18, 2026. We may open on this day in order to take Friday June 19, 2026 off. We will let you know if we are able to do this.

We’ve received both our warehouse and produce trucks and are fully stocked and ready to serve you. For the freshest selection, we recommend coming in as early as you can.

Frozen blueberries, Frozen salmon, Wild rice, Hominy

We will update you as soon as these items return.

⏰ We will be closing early at 4:30 PM.
⏳ Last issuance will be at 3:50 PM.

For afternoon home deliveries, please call before 2:00 PM.
We will not be taking any home delivery requests after 2:00 PM.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. We do have a high number of clients, so it may be busy when you arrive — but we promise to be fast, courteous, and respectful of everyone’s time.

Good morning everyone, we here at the UIT Food Distribution Program hope you all are doing well today.
I just wanted to let you all know that we have Purchased 4 Garden Boxes for the Food Distribution Program so that we are able to grow some Fresh Vegetables for our clients.
The All Wooden Stand Up Garden Box is the one that I had made myself because we were waiting for the big ones to come in.
Just wanted to let you know that all our Garden Boxes are only for the Department.
I am sorry for any misunderstandings this may have caused.

Good afternoon everyone, we here at the UIT Food Distribution Program hope you all are doing well today.
It sure has been a busy week and day. LOL. I have been making a couple of Stand-Up Garden Boxes, one is outside and has Roma Tomatoes planted already, and the other is waiting to dry and will also be going outside to be planted.
Today we received our 4 - 6x3x3 Garden Boxes and we had only enough time to put 2 together. We have planted in the one 5 Cherry Tomatoes, but plan on planting some more.
Once our Vegetables come ripe and ready, these will be available to all our clients, and this will be something we are going to do each and every year. So, when you come in, let us know what is it you would like to have fresh of and maybe we can get it growing the following year.
We will be receiving our Warehouse Truck in on Tuesday June 2, 2026. And then we will receive our Produce Truck on June 3, 2026. So, if you would like to come in and get everything available, it would be best to come in on Thursday June 4, 2026.

Just a quick but important reminder — today (May 27, 2026) is our last day to use points for the month.
If you’ve been saving up or haven’t had a chance to come in yet, now is the perfect time to use whatever points you have left. We want to make sure everyone gets the full benefit of their remaining balance.

Please keep in mind that we will NOT be issuing points during the last two working days of the month, so today is your final window to take care of this.

Just a quick reminder that we will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. We’ll be back to serve you on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable weekend with family and friends.

This is also a meaningful time to visit your loved ones’ resting places and refresh their flowers.

Good morning, We would like to inform everyone today May 13, 2026
We will be closing early at 4:30PM with the last issuance of the day at 3:50PM that allows us to stock up and clean any areas needed for our next business day, we will also be closing early Friday May 15th at 12:00PM for bear dance weekend.

We want to remind everyone the importance of bear dance and the meaning it is for our people to welcome the bear and spring that comes along with him, we dance for our people, for the animals and pray for our families and friends that they may blossom as the plants and flowers do, as the snow melts so does all the ugliness of the winter, come into spring happy and thankful. for the ones dancing, dance for the ones who can't.

our next truck delivery will be Wednesday May 20,2026 for FRESH PRODUCE.

Good morning everyone, we here at the UIT Food Distribution Program hope you all are doing well today.
Just wanted to let you all know that we did finally receive our Warehouse Truck in this morning and we have been able to count, put away, stock and put into the system. I want to thank my crew for the hustle that they did this morning to make this happen. "Big Thank You" to the UIT Food Distribution Program Staff.
We are able to Issue out after 1:00 P.M. today and will stop issuance at 5:30 P.M. today. So, come on down and grab your grub if you was waiting for anything that we was currently out of. I am so sorry for the delay.
As of right now, we are currently out of Wheat Bran Cereal, Wild Rice, Hominy, Applesauce Cups, and Frozen Salmon.
So, while you wait for your issuance on Thursday and Fridays, we will have a little treat for you here at the department.

Our first planter Box of peppers to start our community garden!!! We have bell peppers, jalapeños, Carolina Reapers and, demon good peppers. More to come!!
