This is a bit of a bittersweet post for me to make. 🤍

Over the last few days, I’ve watched several local small businesses have to unexpectedly close their doors. These are people who have poured their time, money, creativity, and so much of themselves into building something of their own and my heart genuinely hurts for them.

It feels strange sitting here with a list of orders to complete and messages to answer, knowing that other small business owners in our community no longer have that same opportunity right now. I don’t take for granted for a second that I’m still able to wake up, turn on my mixer, and do something I truly love.

As of right now, Butler’s Bakehouse is still open and operating as usual, and I am still accepting orders for my remaining availability. 🤍

I also just want to say thank you. Every order, share, recommendation, comment, and person who continues to support my little business means more to me than you probably realize especially right now.

And if you have a local small business you love, please show them some extra love when you can. Behind every small business is a real person or family who depends on the community around them.

I’m incredibly grateful that I still get to be here baking for all of you, and I’ll continue doing it for as long as I’m able. 🤍

You guys have officially filled every custom order spot I have for October! I’m so incredibly thankful for everyone keeping Butler’s Bakehouse busy this fall. 🤎

🍂 NOVEMBER & DECEMBER:
I still have a few limited spots available for custom orders, so if you’re needing a cake or other custom order for the holidays, birthdays, or special events, I highly recommend getting on my calendar sooner rather than later!

✨ A quick booking reminder:
All remaining balances are due 2 weeks before your order date. Your payment must be received by that deadline to secure your spot on my schedule. Please make sure to keep an eye on your due date so there aren’t any issues with your booking! — Large custom order payments are due a month in advance!
