The most insane thing just happened. We turned 17 today. It is also Taco Tuesday. Adjust your plans accordingly.

There are way too many people to thank for our longevity. Customers, employees, vendors, friends, family... I won't start a list because I don't want to leave anyone out. If you see this, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you all for your support. There are so many ways you all help us. Recommendations, reviews, posts on social media, and most importantly, giving us your hard-earned money in exchange for some rad food. Every little bit helps and it doesn't go unnoticed.

Thank you for your patience. We know we aren't perfect and we make more mistakes than we would like. We will keep chasing perfection and know we will never reach it, but hopefully we can shake hands with excellence. (twist on my favorite Vince Lombardi quote)

The restaurant world is insanely weird right now. Things are changing quickly and no one really seems to know what the future is going to hold. Rising costs and changing habits are putting pressure on everything we thought we knew. I'm not sure what the future holds for the restaurant world, but we will do everything we can to get better and we will try our best to keep changing with the times.

This is kind of a State of the Matador annual address. Sorry for the long post. I was trying to keep it short and sweet, but I just can't.

The passing of Dolly Parton is a really big deal. At least it is to me. While she may very well be one of the single greatest songwriters, singers and celebrities of all time, that doesn't even begin to define the National Treasure she was.

The stories that have been rolling out since her death have shown her life was even bigger and greater than everyone ever thought. She was 1 of 1. She was an absolute legend. I have never heard anyone say anything negative about her, ever. Dolly's only mission was to help people.

She literally gave out 1.5 million books to kids. Her father never learned to read, so she did a thing to make it better for everyone else.

She wrote over 3,000 songs but only ever wanted to help people. I could write a book about her and how amazing her life was, but I just wanted to drop a note. Calling her a National Treasure sells her life short. The world lost a legend today. Flags at half-mast for a week isn't enough.

Fire up your Spotify and bang some Dolly.

Door Dash has been taking off since we started last week.

I still keep coming across typos and some missing items. If you see something that is off, let me know and I will get it fixed.

I'm fairly sure that this is why AI was invented. This would have taken me hours to make all of those burritos. Done in 20 seconds. Y'all didn't even think it was AI either. Technology is awesome

Hey Maty fans!!! We learned last week that NoCo Nosh was closing about 2 hours before they told the public. That kind of put us in a pinch. After a mad scramble, I have finally finished getting our menu up on Door Dash. We just went live. If you see any mistakes or something I forgot to add, let me know. Happy ordering.

New sauce alert....

We are working on a new sauce for someone. That means test batches. Ain't no way we are gonna throw away good sauce.

Come in, give it a try and let us know what you think. We are getting close to finishing up. Then a test and some registration and it will be live in bottles. Until then, it's available only in house.

Habanero/ghost level of hot. Peaches, ginger, garlic and some other stuff rounds it out. It's about 8 of 10 hot and it's delicious.
