Just to keep everyone posted, per my previous post, we have to find ways to cut down on the loss we’re facing at the current moment… We have decided that it will take some of the financial burden off and help with outgoing costs to try and close on Monday’s and Tuesday’s for the time being… ***The loss is only going to continue to make our business suffer to the point of closing permanently, WHICH IS NOT AN OPTION!!! ****This was not a decision that was come to lightly!!! Some will understand what I’m trying to do and some won’t, I just pray that everyone can understand why we are doing it… I REFUSE to give up on the town and my customers AS A WHOLE!!! We have lost an unimaginable amount of food with our walk in not working properly, and as of right now that big of a loss can’t be replaced!!! I can’t continue to pay bills, payroll, maintenance and a number of other things without the income necessary to do so… We are doing everything in our power to make this a temporary solution!!!
We’re simply asking for patience as we come up with a better solution to our problem… Most of our customers know we took an enormous hit in the very beginning due to multiple high expenses when a number of things began to deteriorate in a very short time span!!! Ice machine, ACs and walk in all going out within 4 days of each other.. Anyone who has ever been part of a business truly knows the expense it takes to fix and maintain these important, ‘must haves’ When running a business of this nature… please know that I simply REFUSE to give up!!! I will do whatever is needed to my full capabilities to get things back on track!!!
As soon as I can come up with a better plan, you can bet we’ll be running again, as normal!!! That being said, we WILL RESUME BUSINESS HOURS ON WEDNESDAY!!!
If you’re the praying type please send some positive prayers!!! I know God has a plan for our little Diner, and I have no doubt that He will keep his hands on all of us during this difficult time!!! Our prayers are also going out to the families and business who are also experiencing the same financial difficulties!!! I pray that our economy finds some kind of normalcy for all of us… AGAIN, we did NOT come to this decision lightly and I’m heart broken that it’s come to this, at this time… But I’m also staying in a positive mindset that we will ALL get through this very trying time!!!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our little small town and our little Diner!!! You guys are what literally keeps me determined to get thru this!!! So thank you!!!! I have a great team, and a great support system which I am SO VERY GRATEFUL FOR!!! Y’all make sure to come see us Wednesday as it’s going to be very hard not seeing and being with all my loyal customers!!!! 💔❤️
