The Freeze has been undergoing some much needed repairs. The plan is to open Saturday, May 16 from 11 to 7. Hope to see you there. 🍦🍔

The Freeze (began as The Tastee Freez) has been around since the sixties. There have been several owners. Some are, Bernie Winden, from 1971, for approximately ten years. The Dedman’s, and Laurie and Murray Hulburt from 2015 to 2021. We, (Tim and Shauna Rodgers) purchased in 2021 and began our first season in 2022. It has been so fun serving this special town and community of Fort Benton, along with travelers coming to visit all the museums and beauty, Fort Benton has to offer. If you know of any more history regarding The Freeze, please let us know. 🍦❤️
Edit: I just learned some fun information: “Fun fact…My daughter Layla working there this season made it the 4th generation of our family working summers at The Freeze! Through the Jones era owning it and then my dad George Fultz owning it!! 🤩. Great memories!!”
