August is wrapping up, which means our Pizza of the Month is on borrowed time. And if you haven’t tried it yet, today is a pretty great day to fix that!

Why? Because it’s HALF-PRICED PIZZA WEDNESDAY. All. Day. Long. 😏

TODAY’S THE DAY WE PACK THE BEACH FOR A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN A SUNDAY FUNDAY 🩷🎗

Sunset is rallying behind the Jefferson County Cancer Coalition today, and every person who comes through the door helps make a difference for local cancer patients and their families.

The JCCC Volunteers are bringing the heart, APEX is hitting the stage at 2pm, the raffles and 50/50 are ready to roll, the drinks are cold, the food is hot, and the energy is exactly where it should be.

There’s a $5 cover, and every single one of those dollars is going toward something bigger than the party. Plus, your cover gets you a free Bud Light (21+) because doing some good should come with a cold one. 🍻

Grab your friends, bring a few extra bucks for the cause, and let’s show the Jefferson County Cancer Coalition just how hard the Sunset family can rally. 🥰

What. A. DAY. 🏁
The King of the Lake Speed Runs 2026 are wrapping up, and Lake Koshkonong absolutely delivered. Fast boats, big runs, serious horsepower, and one heck of a crowd cheering it all on from start to finish. 🚤💨

A huge THANK YOU to every racer who came ready to send it, every spectator who packed the shoreline, and our Sunset team who helped keep the whole day moving.

And of course, this event does not happen without the incredible sponsors behind it:

🚤👑 TODAY’S THE DAY, KOSHKONONG!
Like a kid on Christmas morning, Jim is up, moving, and already getting the course ready because the King of the Lake Speed Runs 2026 are HERE!

The boats are gonna be rolling in, the course is coming together, and we’re getting ready for one seriously fun day on the water.

🏁 Tech Inspection: 10–11:30am
🚤 Speed Runs: 12–3pm
💰 $60 gets racers 3 runs + an event t-shirt + a shot at cash prizes

👑 Classes are determined by registrations, and yes, the Pontoon Class is BACK!

Then once the last run is in the books, we keep the day moving with awards, cold drinks, great food, and Party Marty & Dirt Bags live at 3:30pm! 🎸🍻

Whether you’re racing, cheering from shore, or just here to see who earns those bragging rights… this is one of those Sunset Saturdays you don’t want to miss.

TOMORROW, Lake Koshkonong throws the throttle wide open! 🚤💨

The King of the Lake Speed Runs 2026 are back, and the countdown is officially down to HOURS. We’re talking 1,000 feet of wide-open throttle, cash prizes, bragging rights, and some seriously impressive boats chasing the fastest GPS speeds of the day.

🏁 Tech Inspection: 10–11:30am
🚤 Speed Runs: 12–3pm
🎸 Party Marty & Dirt Bags: 3:30pm after the racing

Racing? Spectating? Just here because fast boats and a beach bar sound like an excellent Saturday? We approve of all three. 😎

But don’t skip ahead too fast... TONIGHT we’ve got All-Day Fish Fry and Danny Grams Music live at 5:30pm to properly kick off the weekend.

Come get your Friday started, then rest those engines. Tomorrow we find out who really is King of the Lake. 👑🚤

Ohhh, this weekend is about to make some WAVES! 🌊😏 From Friday night football to boats absolutely FLYING across the lake and a Sunday Funday for an incredible cause… Sunset is the place to be.

We’re kicking it off TODAY with All-Day Fish Fry, Happy Hour 11am–6pm, the Tiki Bar opening at 4pm, Danny Grams Music at 5pm, and the Packers preseason game at 8pm on TVs inside AND out! 🏈

Then buckle up -
🚤 SATURDAY: King of the Lake Speed Runs 2026 hit the water at NOON, followed by Party Marty & Dirt Bags at 3:30pm!
🩷 SUNDAY: Jefferson County Cancer Coalition Fundraiser from 2–6pm with APEX live at 2pm, raffles, 50/50 and plenty of Sunset-style fun for a great local cause.

Three days. Two huge events. Live music. Fast boats. Packers football. Rum Slushies. We suggest clearing the calendar. 😎

Thursday appetizers are $6, which is basically Sunset math for “yes, order another one.” 🍤

Grab the curds. Add the quesadilla. Somebody’s getting poppers. Nobody needs to pretend we’re sharing evenly. 😏
