Edible Moss recipe for a Fairy' s Cake🧚♀️
Ingredients
½ cup all-purpose flour (60 g)
½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp maple syrup (30 g)
2–3 tbsp water
1–2 tsp edible green paint/coloring
1 tbsp neutral oil (recommended for a softer sponge)
Instructions
Mix the flour and baking powder.
Add maple syrup, oil, and 2 tbsp water. Mix until you have a thick but pourable batter. Add a little more water if needed.
Mix in your edible green paint until you get the desired moss color.
Put the batter in a microwave-safe cup or small container, filling it no more than halfway.
Microwave on HIGH for 30–45 seconds. Check it and add 5–10 seconds if needed. It should be cooked but still soft.
Let it cool completely.
Tear it apart with your fingers to create irregular moss pieces and crumbs.
