Happy Friday! You may or may not know that there is a really fun event in Forestville tomorrow (Saturday), October 17th called Pie in the Park, which is a fundraiser for the Downtown Forestville Oak Park. In honor of that, we have Quiche! Come by Saturday from 10-3, and get yours. No preorder required, although we have a limited quantity on hand, of course.

Also, check out all of our lovely medals and ribbons from the Harvest Fair Professional Food Competition! We had a great time serving samples of winning dishes at the awards gala last Saturday, and are excited to have three 2026 Best of Show plaques to hang on the wall (and a bunch of double golds)!

Check out a few of our big winners from the Sonoma County Harvest Fair Professional Food Competition this year! We entered 12 dishes, and walked away with 12 medals (the majority double golds!), along with Best Use of Poultry for Shanghai Duck Wontons with Hoisin and Scallions, and Best Use of Cheese AND Best Use of Fruit/Vegetable for Fig & Caramelized Onion Bruschetta with Bellwether Farms Ricotta and Toasted Walnuts! We are pleased to be donating lunches for the breast cancer survivors/models at Sutter's Catwalk for the Cure tomorrow! Another extremely fun event for a fantastic cause...we have been lucky to support this event over many years, and if you have a chance to go, you absolutely should!

Ok, hear us out! Since school started, everyone has been requesting cozy fall food (we've been making pot roast, meatloaf, chicken soup with rice...you get the idea). With the weather this week, we decided to go for it, and just skip straight to the turkey dinner. So come get yours before it's gone until November! :) And yes, we will have preorder sides and meals again this holiday season, so stay tuned for that!!

We also made Chili, our amazing Taco Salads, Tom Kha, Broccoli Salad with Tart Dried Cherries & Pistachios, and lots more! Come by and check out the grab and go case.

Hey babes! Come by this week or next to catch the last of the Peach-Bourbon scones for the summer! Tomatoes are abundant in our gardens and on our menu...the Heirloom Tomato Soup with Fennel & Cream is just the thing for the cooler weather (fantastic with a Nightingale baguette!)

This week on the catering front, we continue to feed hardworking harvest workers (shout out to Williams Selyem Winery...they feed their people WELL!!), supply charcuterie and lunches to lots of local wineries for their guests, and we get to help honor a lovely woman tomorrow at a celebration of life in Santa Rosa. A few pics here of our gorgeous event last weekend at Graton Casino! Tons of fun around the pool...there were mermaids!!

We're excited to be part of the Live Fire & Vine event this Saturday at Graton Casino! Tickets are available online, if you'd like to join us. Our chefs will be poolside sampling some of our lovely appetizers alongside many other wonderful local chefs and wineries! We had a blast at the Artisan Tasting Grove at the Gravenstein Apple Fair this year.

Did you know that we carry many wonderful foodie products in our shop, including many of our favorite Sonoma County brands? Pergola Gate Olive Oil (formerly Olive Queen) is grown just down the road from us on Giusti Road, and Best Dog Ranch Olive Oil in Cazadero by our good friends Cathy and Ricky Tokubo. We have Lala's Jam out of Petaluma, Rustic Bakery crackers and cookies, Little Apple Treats Apple C***r Vinegar and Shrubs out of Sebastopol, Sonoma Syrups, Gipson's Golden Honey, and Sunshine Coffee, our friends here in Forestville. We're so lucky to live in a place of such bounty!

Hello Friends! We have a lot going on this week (including freshman orientation....eek!), and so our shop in Forestville, A La Heart Kitchen will be closed until next Weds, August 12th.

Can't live without us for a week? We get it. Come see us at the Artisan Tasting Grove at the Gravenstein Apple Fair in Sebastopol! We're excited to collaborate with our talented friends and neighbors at Nightingale Bakery to create some tasty bites on both Saturday and Sunday, August 8th and 9th!
