We have made the difficult decision to sell our Brother Jake's Brick Oven Creations business. Our son Luke has accepted a job with Framatome starting this month which will allow him to support his new family and pursue a new career. Our youngest son Michael has joined the Army Reserves and will be leaving for boot camp in April. And perhaps, most exciting of all, our daughter Shelby and her husband Chris gave us a granddaughter, Layne, in November.
Our goal was to have a family business to honor our son Jacob (Brother Jake) who went home to be with His Lord in September 2016. We have been true to this vision but it is time to move on to new opportunities.
Thank you to everyone who supported us for the last three years. We will miss serving our faithful customers at various events throughout the year and it was our honor to cater the meals for weddings and other events. Thank you to those who told us stories about how they knew our son Jacob or shared with us the loss of their own loved ones.
We will also miss the many other food vendors that we saw at events and who shared food with us. We hope to continue to see you when we attend local events as guests.
It has been a great ride and we hate to see it end but we know this is the right decision at this time. My wife Theresa and I are very proud of our kids and were blessed to have this opportunity to work together as a family. We know that God will continue to bless them and their families in the days ahead. We will always have the memories that we made with Brother Jake's.
