Our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration continues with Lilli Cope, whose story is all about family, perseverance and creating a place where others feel like they belong. ❤️🇨🇱
✨ Lilli was born in Miami, Florida, and is proud of her Chilean heritage. When her family moved to North Carolina at age 8, gymnastics became the place where she found connection, friendship and confidence — and eventually, a lifelong career 🤸♀️🤸♂️
Today, Lilli is the Managing Director and Head Competitive Gymnastics Coach at IGA Kids, where she leads a team of coaches and works with nearly 40 competitive gymnasts. Her Hispanic heritage has shaped the values she brings to that role every day: family, hard work, perseverance and supporting the people around you.
For Lilli, coaching is about much more than skills or medals. It’s about helping children feel included, grow in confidence and believe in themselves.
We love that the sport that once gave Lilli a sense of belonging now allows her to create that same feeling for the next generation. Join us in celebrating Lilli and the difference she’s making in the lives of young athletes! ❤️
