We've got 2 more dates up in Appleton this month! Don't worry, it's not the last time we'll be up in Appleton, but we could use a little help spreading the word. We're trying to build a following so that we can keep people updated as to when we're up there. I'll even sweeten the deal, for every share we'll put an entry for a free small of any kind and boba. We'll do 2 winners, one for each date (You can redeem your free bowl/boba at the Fond du Lac location, OR on the trailer at either date). Contest winners will be announced the morning of the first date 6/17.

We're super excited to be part of the first wave of food trucks coming out to Fond du Lac Beer Company. Its awesome to see people preserving the historical downtown district and turning our old buildings back into a beautiful and thriving ecosystem. Personally, it will be my first time at the event space so I'm really looking forward to seeing it! We'll be slinging grilled cheese from 4:30 to 8:30 tonight while they have their trivia going on. Both us and the Beer Co. are open to the public while the trivia is going on!

The Fondy Food Truck Festival is right around the corner! Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 24th from 11 to 5 on Oven Island in Lakeside Park. This year’s festival is shaping up to be a fantastic day, with a delicious line-up of 40 food trucks ready to serve up your favorites.

But that’s not all—we’re adding even more fun to the mix! We’re thrilled to announce that the Brew State Baggers will be joining us to host a Bag Toss Tournament. If you’d like to join the action, simply scan the QR code for all the details and to sign up.

Hey all, it's been a minute since we last checked in. I think now's a good time to take a moment to re-introduce ourselves, lay out the plan for the year, and make a few announcements.

To start off, I'm Kean O'Brien and pictured with me is my amazing fiancée Emily. Those of you who have been involved with the truck would probably be most familiar with my parents Sean and Candi or my friend and business partner Jeremiah. After last year, we decided to take a look at what is best for both businesses and for each of us involved and we came to the conclusion that I'll be running the truck this year. Sean and Candi are still enjoying being grandparents to our 2 beautiful children and may pop in here and there to help with events, but for the most part will not be involved with the Big Blue Yummy. Jeremiah will be primarily running 10 poké's physical location alongside Emily. I'm extremely proud of the work that's been put in and with the extra day that's been added, they're far more suited to the day-to-day operation of quality and consistency. Their hard work allows me to get the food truck where it needs to be, and to start poking around in other towns for a potential second location. I'm thrilled to be able to use the truck as we originally intended to lay the foundations of another location. I've always done best working on new projects, and chasing after dreams so it seems like everyone's in the best place for their skillset.

Now, so far there's been a lot of talk about Hang 10, so where does that leave our Grilled Cheese concept? We're going to be a lot more intentional about when and where we're running Cowabunga. We're still going to be running it, and I've got a ton of new ideas for sandwiches however it will be less of the primary focus of the truck. With that, we're going to be a lot better about posting dates and times of where and when we'll be. The goal is to have the weekly schedule posted, and to get an opt-in email list together so that our communication is far more consistent.

We're also available for hire for grad parties and we're always looking for prosperous partnerships for lunch and dinner services especially in the Oshkosh, Appleton, West Bend, or Sheboygan areas. For those of you who have been with us since the beginning, thank you for following us on this journey and we're looking forward to another season. For those of you new to the page, we welcome you and hope to see you out there!
