🌱 We’re excited to be hosting a Fall Ag Workshop here at Windy Ridge Dairy! 🚜

On Thursday, October 8th from 4–6 PM, the Beaver County Conservation District will be holding a Cover Crops & Soil Health Workshop here at the farm.

With our corn harvest wrapped up and fall cover crops going in, the timing couldn’t be better! 🌽🌱

There will be several speakers and agricultural organizations here to talk about cover crops, soil health, available programs and resources, and to answer questions.

📍 Windy Ridge Dairy
457 N Tower Rd, Fombell, PA
📅 Thursday, October 8th
⏰ 4:00–6:00 PM
🌧 Rain date: Thursday, October 15th

If you’re a farmer, landowner, or just interested in learning more about what goes into taking care of the land, come join us!

And yes—the flyer says Windy Ridge Dairy, but the workshop will be out here on the farm, not in the store. 😊

We’re looking forward to having everyone out and showing you a little more of what happens beyond the store! 🐄🌱🚜

🐄 Farm update! 🚜
Tate has officially decided he is no longer interested in sitting in his stroller for all of barn work. 😂 So a HUGE thank you to whichever one of our customers dropped off these squeaker shoes for him! Now when he takes off, at least we can hear where he’s going! 👟😂
Our old lady Amanda is doing well! She’s adopted herself a new calf. She only has one milking quarter left out of the four she should have, so keeping a calf with her seems to be the perfect solution—it keeps both of them happy. ❤️
Our C-section cow has been a little slow to recover, but we’re happy with the progress she’s making!
Our twisted-stomach cow is doing great! We even took her stitches out this morning. 🙌
And after a VERY busy few weeks, the corn silo and the corn silage bag are both FULL! 🌽 The guys have moved on to planting fall cover crops, so harvest season keeps rolling right along.
And finally… Zofie’s calf has a name! ❤️
Tucker made the final decision, and Ruby it is! 🐮❤️
Thank you all for the amazing name suggestions! We’re keeping a list because we have plenty more calves to name in the future. 😊
Never a dull moment around here!
Thank you all for supporting our small farm and family business! Without you, none of this would be possible.

Hope you have a great weekend! ❤️
