Just a quick note regarding our stand as we had some generous food donations today:
We briefly used it as a blessing box last year, but it is currently being used only for our eggs and produce. We truly appreciate the kindness and generosity behind the donations left today, but at this time we are not utilizing the stand that way. We encourage anyone wanting to donate food items to please take them to a local food pantry! The items left today will still be donated accordingly. If we utilize the stand as a blessing box again in the future, it will be shared on here! Thank you for your understanding. ❤️

Sharing again for anyone who may be new to fresh eggs. 🥚 😊

A couple fun facts about our flock and eggs in general🐣
We do not have a rooster, so there is zero chance of any of our eggs being fertilized.
A lot of people confuse the chalazae for eggs being fertilized, or get creeped out by it thinking it’s a bad egg. These little white spots are actually just where the yolk attaches to the shell. These become less visible over time, which is why you don’t see them as much in store bought eggs. The fresher the egg is, the more visible the chalazae will be, so you’ll always see them in our eggs! 🥚
