**GODZILLA IS BACK. 🦖🔥**
If you loved *Godzilla Minus One*, get ready—**Godzilla Minus Zero** is coming to North American theaters on **November 6, 2026**, with director Takashi Yamazaki returning.
And for 90s kids, Godzilla hits a little differently.
We grew up in a decade when Godzilla was everywhere—VHS shelves, cable reruns, video games, toys, monster marathons, and of course the massive **1998 American Godzilla movie** that became one of those instantly recognizable pieces of 90s pop culture. Even if that version was controversial with longtime fans, it absolutely helped keep Godzilla in the conversation for a whole new generation.
So for a lot of us, Godzilla wasn’t just some old movie monster from decades before we were born. He was part of growing up.
That is what makes *Godzilla Minus Zero* so exciting. It takes the character back to his Japanese roots while giving modern audiences the kind of scale and spectacle that makes the King of the Monsters feel enormous again.
The new movie is set in **1949, two years after *Godzilla Minus One***, and brings back several characters from the previous film. It is also the **first Japanese production filmed for IMAX**, which feels pretty appropriate for a movie about a giant radioactive monster destroying everything in sight.
For 90s kids who remember Godzilla toys, rented VHS tapes, cheesy monster battles, and that unmistakable roar coming through the TV speakers, this one feels like another chance to see an old favorite become a huge event again.
**November cannot get here fast enough.**
Who else is ready for **Godzilla Minus Zero**? 🦖💥
