💙 A LITTLE TAB CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE. 💙

We have something new at Springside — a Can Tab Collection Dish! 🥤✨

While you’re visiting us, if you order a canned drink, we’d love for you to help us save those little tabs. Just drop your tab into our new collection dish near the register at the coffee counter!

And you don’t have to collect them only while you’re here. Springside can also be your local drop-off spot for can tabs you collect at home! We’ll gladly accept tabs from drink cans AND food cans. 🥫

We’re collecting these tabs to donate to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Georgia’s Atlanta location in honor of Chase White, who bravely battled a Wilms Tumor, a childhood cancer.

We continue to pray that Chase’s cancer stays away for the remainder of his life. ❤️

During Chase’s treatment, Ronald McDonald House was incredibly kind to the White family. They provided a place of comfort and support during those long days at the hospital — helping with housing, food, and the simple things that matter so much when a family is walking through something as difficult as childhood cancer.

And now, we get to give a little something back.

The tabs collected through Ronald McDonald House Charities of Georgia’s Pull Tab Program are recycled for their aluminum value, and the money raised goes directly toward the House’s operating budget, helping them continue caring for families who have children receiving medical treatment. So the next time you pop open a can, save that little tab! 💙

🎀 CINNAMON ROLLS FOR A CAUSE 🎀

Every Thursday in October, our warm, fresh cinnamon rolls will be available at Springside — and this month, they carry a little extra meaning. ❤️

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, including awareness for metastatic breast cancer, and we’re honored to partner with Georgia Hair Solutions and Warrior Wigs to help support children and adults facing cancer and hair loss.

A portion of our Thursday sales will be donated to Warrior Wigs, helping provide beautiful hair to warriors during some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

And there is a very personal reason we chose this organization.

Our sweet friend Mary is fighting stage 4 breast cancer, and cinnamon rolls happen to be one of her favorite things we carry at Springside. ❤️

Watching Mary walk through this fight — and seeing the incredible support Georgia Hair Solutions has given her along the way — has touched our hearts deeply. Her journey is one of the reasons we wanted to partner with these wonderful organizations this October.

Because hair means so much.

You may not truly understand what it feels like until you stand in front of a mirror with clumps of your own hair in your hands… and begin to feel like you don’t recognize the person staring back at you.

For so many women and children, a wig can be more than hair. It can bring back a little confidence. A little normalcy. A little piece of themselves during a time when so much has changed. 💗

So this month, as we think about breast cancer, talk about breast cancer, and encourage one another to be aware, get checked, and support those who are fighting, we invite you to join us.
