We are seeking an experienced pizza chef to join our team at our busy pizzeria. Our ideal candidate will have experience making sourdough pizza and a passion for working with locally sourced ingredients. As a pizza chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, delicious pizzas for our customers using traditional techniques and fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sourdough pizza dough and other pizza ingredients from scratch
- Create a variety of pizza toppings using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients
- Cook pizzas to perfection in our oven
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized
- Collaborate with other members of the kitchen staff to create new and exciting pizza recipes
