Nice to have a gas station within walking distance, so gas can in a cart it is, and then stand in line with cars at the pump. 🤣. Tried my hardest to keep a serious straight face even though I was lmao inside.
Here till sell out, and all, or most of the day tomorrow as well. Carryout is open till 7 or sell out also. We will have grilled chicken wings and our smoked turkey breast sandwiches this afternoon, at both the food truck and carryout in Florissant. Full menu available at carryout. Mannmeats. Food truck will be at the Sam’s location in St.Charles until 4:30ish today. We will need to leave there at 4:30 to go cater an event for their dinner. We will be back at Sam’s all day Friday and Saturday. We will be parked where you see it in the picture. 10% of all the food truck sales this week from the Sam’s lot go to the Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser that’s being hosted by Sam’s.
Our brick and mortar is open from 11-7 or sell out at 300 St.Ferdinand. Full menu available at our carryout at Mannmeats. com or by calling us at 314-942-7000. Preordering is greatly appreciated, as we will cook to order if need be. Several things are available throughout the day as we cook with a guesstimate almost everyday.

You spoke, we listened…

“The Pit Stick” is on the menu again today,
But with a limited quantity.

The Pit Stick is around a pound of love and labor on a stick. Our original meatloaf mixture of beef and seasonings, portioned into 3 ounce balls, wrapped in bacon, sprinkled with brown sugar, grilled/smoked until thoroughly done, then glazed with our house made sauce. Add a couple grilled butter balls, and you have Meat and Taters, on a stick.

Other than that, the rest of the menu is available at Mannmeats .com. Live menu on the website link. You can also call us at 314-942-7000 to place an order or preorder.

Next week, the food truck will be in the Sam’s parking lot in St.Charles, Wednesday-Saturday, 11-sell out. It’s a week of fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network and a percentage of all sales will be donated to CMN. If you go to the St.Charles Sam’s, you won’t be able to miss us, as we will be parked within smelling distance of the exit door. The food truck menu is still to be determined, so put in your request, and we will do whatever we can to fulfill it.

Alright, think we are ready to send it…

Preorder your “Pit Stick” and within 1 hour, we will cook it to order for maximum freshness. Available only Wednesday and Thursday this week. We will have dozens prepped and ready for the grill and will also try to have several available Wednesday and Thursday for the unexpected walk in orders.

What’s the Pit Stick? The “Pit Stick” is made with 3, made in house, seasoned meatballs (total of 1/2lb. of beef) wrapped in bacon then glazed, with 2 grilled/seasoned butter ball potatoes, on a stick (wooden skewer) $11.99

Add sides as you wish, or any other menu items if you’d like.

We are excited to bring new things for all to try, and whatever gets the best feedback, earns a spot on the daily menu.

Working on a finalized menu name, as we are pretty confident we don’t need to work on its taste.

Come see for yourself. Free samples of my daughter’s creation of Bacon wrapped, meatballs. If the picture was a scratch and stiff, you’d be licking your phone. lol.

While you’re here, grab some late lunch, or dinner. This whole tray in the pic will be portioned for samples, from now till they are gone.

Sorry, but we will not have Rib Tips today or tomorrow. We will have everything else on the menu.

Tomorrow, Aug.15th, we will have our food truck at 370 Lakeside park for the annual “Angels of Abbey Gate Ride for Freedom 13”. Public sales, free concert featuring Super Jam (1pm-4pm), and drink trucks will be there. Event starts at 11am and lasts until 4pm. Several hundred bikes are already registered, and last year I think there were nearly 1000 in attendance. Really cool event for a great cause and a sight to be seen.

13% of all sales go to Freedom13 organization.

Lil history post and to brag a bit…. 🥲

Most of you probably don’t know that we have literally been making our own sausage and bratwurst within our family for 30+ years.

It started as basically a hobby, something we just loved doing with family and friends.

There have been a few recipe tweaks along the way, but the same heart, pride, and passion have been behind them from the very beginning.

As we were loading up the grills this morning, something hit me.

I’m standing there watching Miranda, our daughter, load the grill, and I realized… this is just what we do.

This is what she has grown up around. Making brats, cooking for people, working together as a family. It comes pretty naturally to her because it’s been part of her life for as long as she can remember.

And the coolest part is, she’s not just learning what we’ve always done. She’s always learning more and bringing new ideas to what we already have.

Miranda has plenty of her own ideas too. New menu items, different things she wants to try, and ideas that we’ll eventually start working into the Mann Meats menu.

For example, check out this Boss Brat she created that we call “The Murph Dog,” named after a good friend of ours, Dan Murphy, who was the first one to try it, and named it. It’s not on the menu yet… but it might be a little preview of what’s coming.

So while she’s carrying on some of our family traditions, she’s also starting to create a few of her own.

Pretty damn cool as her dad to stand back for a minute and see it happening right in front of me this morning.

Same family. Same passion.
And now the next generation is helping decide what comes next.

30 years ago, you were just that girl walking down my street. Neither one of us had any idea what was ahead of us or that all these years later we’d still be doing life together.

We’ve pretty much grown up together.

We’ve raised an amazing daughter, built a life, built a business, made some great memories, gone through some really hard times, probably pi**ed each other off about a million times, and somehow we’re still here. 😂

And I wouldn’t change it.

Eight years ago today, on 8-11-18, after already spending more than 20 years together, I finally got to call you my wife.

Our first dance that night was to “Perfect.”

Thirty years together certainly hasn’t been perfect. Neither one of us is perfect. But I think that’s what makes what we have mean so much.

Through every version of our lives, somehow we’ve kept choosing each other.

I know I don’t say it enough, but I hope you know how much I love you, how much I appreciate everything you’ve done for me and our family, and how much of my life wouldn’t be my life without you in it.

If I could go all the way back to that day and see that girl walking down my street again, knowing everything the next 30 years would bring…

I’d still want you to walk into my life.

I’d still choose you and I’d still marry you.

Happy 8th Anniversary, Holly.

8 years married. 30 years together. And I’m still glad it was you. ❤️
