We THANK YOU, not only for a great week, but an amazing day yesterday at the “Florissant Fall Festival”. So nice to see so many people enjoying yet another Florissant event.
Someone had left their bottle on the back shelf of our food truck/bus sometime pretty early yesterday, and it sat there for hours. This is our attempt to find the owner since it should be pretty recognizable with the stickers on it. If it’s yours, it will be at our restaurant/brick and mortar.
We appreciate each and every one of you for the support day after day. If you didn’t know yet, we are now offering DoorDash delivery, making it even easier for you to get what you want, when you want it. Simply go to the DoorDash app, and you’ll find us there Wednesday-Saturday, 11-7.

See ya in a couple days.

Florissant Fall Festival 2026…
Within in hour, the streets will be filled.

Huge car show at the “Knights of Columbus grounds”, dozens and dozens of vendors, both food and merchandise, several bands and solo artist along the way. Can easily spend the whole day venturing through the booths and eating, while enjoying this amazing weather.

We are loaded up and ready to go.

A couple things to mention today
and one big thing that’s finally in motion!

First, the big news: We are officially LIVE on DoorDash as of yesterday!

We’re excited to finally get this rolling. We held off on announcing it while we worked through a few small details on the backend to get ready for the additional orders we’re hoping will come our way. If you have a larger sized order, we still offer “DoorDash Drive” on our Mannmeats website live menu. The difference of the delivery options, is the “DoorDash Drive” delivery is still a flat fee of $7.95 regardless of the size of the order vs. paying a small percentage of the sale through the app. We will continue to adapt and make adjustments to this process to be as cost efficient as possible.

So for your convenience, you can now find us on the DoorDash app and have Mann Meats delivered right to your door between 11-7, Wednesday-Saturday.

Today, we will have smoked/grilled 1/2 chickens on sale at $6.99. Today, we have 100+ on hand. This sale is for today only. Please preorder as we will be cooking them to order along with cooking some on a guesstimate of what’s coming unannounced. When they are gone, they’re gone.

We will also have our newest item, the Smoked/Seasoned Beef bologna. 6oz. smoked bologna sandwich on a fresh Helfer’s bakery bun, with whatever condiments you want on it. Upon request, we will add condiment options for this bologna sandwich as you guys are ultimately the ones that are purchasing it, so we want to have it the way you want it.

Tomorrow… wow.!!! What a beautiful day it’s going to be for the Florissant Fall Festival. Weather is going to be absolutely perfect.

At the Fall festival, from 10-4ish, we will have:
Mann Burgers, Boss Brats, Pulled Pork sandwiches, Jumbo Smoked Turkey Legs, Smoked Beef Bologna sandwiches, Side chicks and Hot Chicks (chicken sandwich), and a couple simple side choices of White Cheddar Mac and Potato salad. All available until sold out which we will honestly try not to do for festivals like this. We try to serve easy, “eat while you walk” and FAST serveable items at the fall festival, or any big event.

One of our favorite events of the year is here….
“Florissant Fall Festival”
This Sunday from 10-5pm

We will be located across the street from Bunkers Tavern at the intersection of St.Francois and St.Pierre, from 10am-5pm. We might sell out of some items, but we won’t totally be sold out, as we will be cooking throughout the day as we see the need. We will stop cooking when the crowds die down, which usually seems to be around 4ish every year.

Even if our line is long, we move it fast…

Might even add a couple more options to the menu as it gets closer to Sunday, but we try to keep in mind, everyone is mostly walking and eating at the same time, limiting what we are serving.

RatRun 2026 is on its way. We are posted up at Froges Bar and Grill from now until 5ish, sell out, or until the crowds die down.

Sunday, is a fun one we look forward to every year. RAT RUN in Portage Des Sioux. We will be at Froge’s from 10am-4ish, or until the crowd slows down.

Smoked Turkey breast is on the menu again today, as well as half chickens everyday.

Then there’s our smoked chicken wings, Boss Brats, Mann Burgers, Baby Back Ribs, Pulled Pork, Fork Steaks, Pulled Chicken, Side Chicks, Hot Chicks, Brisket, Mann Candy, Meatloafs, Rhino Burgers, Byron Burgers, and then our sides.
Plenty of choices, and with a preorder, we will cook your order “to order” therefore we will essentially never be “Sold Out”.
The Smoked Beef Bologna was a hit so we ordered more, and it will be available tomorrow while it lasts. We will make it available for preorders tomorrow morning, because if we do it today, it will just confuse people.
Daily, our Grills are off by 6pm, we close at 7pm, but are able to hand out pre-orders up until 7:30 while we clean up. Food warmers stay on until the last order is gone.
We have a few changes coming soon, to better serve our customers, while trying to keep our cost under control, while eliminating food waste. Cooking on a guesstimate everyday can be costly.

Smoked Beef Bologna…
Might be available later today if it’s worthy, if not, we will have plenty of bologna for ourselves, our staff until we make it worthy of a menu item.

We mistakenly bought the wrong cases of rib tips this week, and got spares with tips on, 🤦🏼‍♂️ so, today that’s what we will have instead of rib tips. Didn’t realize it until we started prepping them.

We have dozens of Fork (pork) steaks cooking, so if you want one, we have plenty as of now. We will still offer a free, 1/2 of a baked potato with cheese with pork steaks if you want one. Please preorder so we can cook enough potatoes in advance beyond our guesstimate.

We also have dozens of slabs of baby backs to cook, but will only cook additional slabs beyond a guess with a preorder to try to prevent wasting them.
