This August we celebrate 30 yrs in business!!! We have been reminiscing and thinking about all the good and hard times over the years.

We need some help. We are looking for photos and stories about your favorite visit to The Pour House. Maybe it was your first date or your first cup of good coffee. Over the years we’ve hosted concerts, graduation parties, baby showers, even weddings. Please take some time to share some of those with us on this post or via email to [email protected]. Extra brownies points for anything 96-2000 while we were still in the Blue Spruce building.

My(Kenny) favorite memory is the day we purchased the business from Art Long. Miriam and I had no idea what we were getting ourselves into but we were ready to work hard and do our best. We were fairly young for business owners and were constantly being reprimanded or encouraged by other business’s in the Florence community. Too many late time concerts I guess 😆 We took it all in stride and have always appreciated being part of something bigger than ourselves.

Here we are celebrating this mile stone. Even as proprietors, we’ve never felt like the business was just ours. I’ve(Kenny) always felt it belongs to the community and the people that make it great.

So please let’s get some photos and stories so we can share with everyone.
