Thank you to our friends at Dort Financial for choosing Edible Flint for their day of service event today! We had about 30 volunteers join us for end of the season farm projects. Many hands made light work and we are so grateful to everyone who was able to help us out today!

PS- Veggies out on the free farm stand right now! 1628 Beach St. Lots of peppers, herbs, tomatoes and even some lilies and yarrow plants to take home to your gardens.

We had an absolute blast celebrating the end of the season at our Edible Flint's Fall Harvest Festival this past Saturday! Shout out to our generous sponsor Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and all of the amazing volunteers that helped make this celebration a success.

We had over 140 farm friends join us for activities, farm tours, story time, and lots of fall goodies for this capstone event celebrating the growing season and our Children’s Programming.

Thank you to For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum for bringing turtles and insects, Hope Network for sharing health care options, MSU Extension Genesee County Master Gardeners and Edible Flint volunteers for sharing gardening information!

Today 9/24 at the Edible Flint Educational Farm!

Gardening can be a great way to alleviate stress, boredom, and anxiety. Taking part in a physical activity like gardening can stimulate the senses and memory, and improve wellbeing! This is a great free activity for both the caregiver and person with dementia.

We are so thankful for the many dedicated volunteers who spend the growing season with us to help provide accessible healthy produce to our neighbors. Thank you WNEMTV5news for stopping by the farm today to showcase their hard work and highlighting the new Flint Eats app! Flint does cool things. 🙌 🥕🫑

Edible Flint grows more than 6,000 pounds of produce every year, and the nonprofit gives much of it away for free at a farm stand on Beach Street.
