A quick but important clarification about our nut-free flavor selection 💗

We’ve been so grateful for the excitement around the fact that Humdoo does not carry any ice cream flavors containing peanuts or tree nuts.

However, some recent coverage has described us as a “nut-free facility,” and we want to be very clear that this is not an accurate description.
Humdoo is NOT a certified nut-free facility.

None of the ice cream flavors or toppings we carry contain peanuts or tree nuts, and once our products arrive at Humdoo, we do not have peanuts or tree nuts in our ice cream lineup.

However, we do not manufacture our ice cream in-house.
Our products are made in outside manufacturing facilities that also produce products containing peanuts and/or tree nuts. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that cross-contact has not occurred before a product reaches our stores.

We are incredibly proud to offer an ice cream shop where our entire ice cream flavor lineup is made without peanut or tree nut ingredients. 💗

But for anyone with a severe allergy, we never want media coverage or wording around our shop to give a false sense of security.
Nut-free flavors ≠ certified nut-free facility.

If you have a food allergy, please always let our team know and make the decision that is safest for you based on your individual needs.
