The Schooner Inn is Fire Islands only bar with its own bay front beach, offering beach front restaurant dining, spectacular sunsets, a pizzeria and bike rentals. Lunch and dinner are served daily. Our Two beautiful bars are filled with nautical antiques. Happy

Hours are Monday through Saturday. Come spin the wheel for prizes and play our famous Bingo for a bike. Weekends include live bands and a DJ till 4am

Dennis Curry was a staple in the OBP community some 1972, alongside his brother Peter Curry. He purchased the Schooner Inn which was just a tiny store with land. Dennis & Peter Curry built the Schooner Inn making their dream a reality. He was loved by so many and our hearts are broken, OBP will never be the same.

Dennis Curry sadly passed away on November 20th, he was a loved husband , brother , father and a cherished PopPop . Dennis Curry built the Schooner Inn with his brother in 1972 , it remained forever his baby. He was so proud of the beauty of the Schooner Inn and was proud of the life he made. He was larger than life and was a staple in the Ocean Bay Park community, OBP will never be the same.
