Chef's Log 6/14/26: At least we've got some brisket!

Big Bertha, our smoker, is taking her sweet, sweet time with returning to being fully functional. We're waiting on parts, but we are able to smoke in small batches - and that includes brisket!

We appreciate your patience and understanding while Bertha continues to stress us out- BBQ is available in limited quantities, come and grab it before Bertha decides to crash out (again).

Chef's Log, 6/11/2026

Day 3 with no smoker.

We've started referring to it as "The Incident."

The kitchen staff now gathers around Big Bertha each morning in silence. Someone left flowers. Someone else left a rack of ribs and whispered, "Come back to us."

At this time, Big Bertha remains down for maintenance, and we are continuing to serve a limited menu of non-smoked items.

The good news? Porch Punches are still flowing. While we can't currently offer smoked meats, we can offer a refreshing cocktail, a seat on the porch, and a place to collectively reminisce about brisket.

Thank you for your patience, your support, and for keeping Big Bertha in your thoughts. We're hopeful she'll be back to her smoky self soon. Until then, we'll be relaxing on porch time with a Porch Punch in hand.

Chef's Log, 6/10/2026: Day 2 with no smoker.

Morale remains surprisingly high. The kitchen staff has begun telling stories of pulled pork as if it were a mythical creature. One cook swears he can still smell brisket in the distance.

While our smoker is down for maintenance, we'll be serving a limited menu of non-smoked items today.

We appreciate your patience. The smoker appreciates the spa day.
