Important Announcement: Harvester IS MOVING!
We will only be at this location through the end of next week (February 21st)
A little explanation that we feel we owe you: After asking our landlords for some time to consider signing a lease here, we were not given a response, just a letter for us to vacate, informing us that they found someone else to come in!
After getting over the shock of the situation. We are just grateful... sometimes prayers aren’t answered the way you think they will be. But, God knows ALL.
Just a few days later an opportunity to rebuild fell in our laps + we are walking forward, in faith, that if it’s right it will continue to fruition + the “Harvester Mission” will be able to do SO much more than we could have ever imagined!

Harvester here in Blanchester has truly been a labor of love. Many have asked over the years..”why the teepee?”…For us, this is a mission that began in a backyard in 2015, just outside of Blanchester, inside a teepee (for no other reason than we thought it was cool). There people were invited to share homegrown meals, kombucha, conversations about Jesus, songs, + long nights around a fire w/ a guitar. People stayed as long as they wanted. They brought whoever they wanted. Everyone had a seat.🫶🏽
Over time, a small tribe formed — all with the same heart: loving people + feeding them well. Then we found ourselves in a storefront in Blanchester (some of our’s hometown), surrounded by incredible people who made it possible to do what we once did, one day a week in a backyard… transitioning to what it is now, open doors, nearly 50 hours every single week.
It has been such a beautiful season + we are so deeply thankful for our time here. Thankful for the support, the community + the way we were able to create something truly special + unique TOGETHER. We’re grateful to be closing this chapter on a good note. Every vision for this space came to pass — even though we imagined many more years in Blanchester. It was worth every hurdle + every sacrifice.
Together, we fed the community in big ways. We gave away hundreds of free Harvester meals, more than 1,000 pizzas, many loaves of bread to local families + the Christmas trees this past Christmas, a personal favorite! We celebrated holidays together w/ free Thanksgiving + Christmas Day buffets. We were able to offer community here + jobs to single parents, even provide housing for a few women, as we just began that mission.
We’re incredibly thankful for the talented local artisans + farmers who partnered w/ us to bring you the absolute best quality food. We truly hope to work together again soon.
And to all of the Harvesters…those who came + went, + those who stayed for this wild ride to the closure of this chapter here…YOU are this place. It carries a little piece of each of you. Watching you grow in love, grace + give in ways that may never fully make sense until heaven… it has been Jesus on earth. Literally. 😭
Now, the teepee must move camp. Haha.
We love you all. We pray you love whoever comes after us. We believe we were able to help pave the way for creativity, love, hope, + life here.. through the powerful love of Jesus.
Blanchester, Thank you for the years here — first as a business, + then as a nonprofit, but ALWAYS a mission of LOVE! Thank you for letting us serve you. We learned SO much + will be better humans because of it.
And as always… keep paying it forward (even if they don’t have a system for it). Everyone still has a seat at the table. ⛺️ 🌾 🫶🏽
More about the + how to get involved, to partner w/ us bringing this vision to life + reopen the doors we all love so much…
