LAST CALL FOR LASAGNA, Y’ALL!

That big pot of sauce has been working for two days, and we’re ready to let it do what it came here to do: feed you supper.

Orders close at NOON TODAY so we can get these lasagnas in the oven for tonight!

And a little love for our VEGETARIAN LASAGNA: yes, we have that option! We’ve only got one vegetarian order so far, and making just one serving is a little tricky. If you’ve been sitting out lasagna night because you don’t eat meat, pull up a chair. We’d love to make some for you, too.

Feeding a crew? Our $99 Family Feast includes:

• A whole half pan of lasagna—about 8–10 servings, depending on how generously you slice it
• A 48-ounce salad
• Half a loaf of garlic bread

Tonight’s dessert is apple pie bread pudding with caramel. Because apparently we weren’t making your supper decision easy enough already.

And a little honest kitchen-table talk: we love feeding you on Wednesday nights. We’ve spent years trying to make a homemade, reasonably priced supper that gives you a break from cooking and brings folks around the table.

To keep this program going, we need to average about 50 dinners each week. That’s what helps the labor and food costs make sense.

As we shared in the newsletter, some changes are coming to Grateful Fed. Wednesday dinners are one of the things I’ve been holding onto with both hands. We’ll reevaluate before Christmas, and if we aren’t averaging those 50 dinners a week, our final Wednesday dinner of December will be our last as we head into 2027.

We’d sure love to keep it rocking and rolling. Ordering supper, telling a friend, or sharing this post all help.

Good Monday morning, y’all! We’re rolling right along through October and kicking off Hampden-Sydney homecoming week with plenty of good food—and falling back in love with soup!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER
Homemade lasagna, your choice of meat or vegetarian, served with garlic bread, salad, and apple pie bread pudding for a sweet finish. Let us handle supper so you can enjoy your evening!

SOUP, SALAD & SLIDERS — AVAILABLE STARTING THURSDAY
Our $99 take-home pack includes:
• Two quarts of vegan chili or chicken and corn chowder
• One dozen ham, turkey, or vegetarian sliders
• One 48-ounce salad

🍂 Fall in Love with Fuqua Dining 🍂

Fuqua families, I want to tell you a little bit about why we’re launching Fall in Love with Fuqua Dining.

One of the things I heard when Grateful Fed became part of Fuqua this year was that when you become part of Fuqua, you become part of a family. And family tells each other the truth.

The truth is, we absolutely love feeding your kids. We have loved becoming part of the Falcon community. We've heard wonderful feedback from students, parents, teachers and staff, and some of the stories have meant more to us than you probably realize.

We've heard from families whose children have dietary restrictions — including gluten-free students who haven't always been able to eat what everyone else is eating — who are now able to sit down and enjoy lunch alongside their friends.

That's exactly what we wanted Fuqua Dining to be. But here's the other part of the truth: For Grateful Fed to continue providing the variety, quality and level of service we're bringing to Fuqua, we need to feed more Falcons each day.

Our goal is 100 Falcons Fed every day.

Right now, we're generally feeding somewhere between 50 and 75 students a day. That's a great start, but we need more consistent participation for Fuqua Dining to grow into the program we believe it can be.

So we're not asking you to order lunch because you have to.
We're asking you to give us a chance.

If your child has enjoyed their lunches, tell another Fuqua parent. If you've been meaning to try us, give us a shot. If your child orders once a week, maybe let them pick another day that looks good.
And, parents, we're far enough into the school year that you may already be getting a little tired of packing that lunchbox every morning anyway. 😂

So we're going to make it fun!!!!!!
