Looks like a good weekend ahead for dinner on the patio.

One of the smaller changes from our spring menu update was the fries.

We started cooking them in beef tallow.

It gives them a deeper, more savory flavor than a neutral oil, and the crisp feels more at home with smoked meat, steak, sandwiches, and a drink at the bar.

It’s a little thing, but it makes a big difference.

The covered patio is open at Bourbon Butcher. We’ve got achiote-rubbed smoked half chicken, ribeye sandwiches, chicken wings with mojo sauce, and cold cocktails to go with all of it.
